FAQ
Does it cost anything to have a sales person give me a quote? Am I obligated to buy?
No. We provide completely free, no-obligation visits, measurements, estimates, and design consultations for all our window and shower door products. There is never any pressure for you to make a decision immediatelly. You are about the make a decision that will last you for years, possibly decades. We have all the tools and samples to help make your decision well educated and easy.
What about my old window coverings?
No worries. We will remove and haul away your old window coverings and shower doors and dispose of it properly.
Do I have to install it myself?
We have professional installers with as much as three decades of experience. You could install it yourself if you want to, but why get dirty? Let us do the job.
Can I measure it myself and order with you?
Yes you can. We'll even tell you how you have to measure to make it fit properly. However, we would be happy to do all the work for you at no extra cost. Any measurements taken by the customer are the customer's responsibility.
What if my windows are not square?
Nothing to worry about. The construction company does their best to make them as flush as possible. However, often the measurements on top differ from the bottom, or from left to right. By getting our custom blinds, we are able to adjust such deviation to within 1/8" of an inch to ensure that custom fitted look.
How do I pay for my order?
We accept all the major credit cards as well as personal checks. We generally require a 50% non-refundable deposit to get the order started and the materials manufactured. Then the remaining 50% is due on the day of the installation.
What is the return policy?
All of our blinds and shower doors are custom made to fit your particular needs. Custom window treatments cannot be returned. Cancellations and exchanges are not possible as each window covering is unique. If you do the measuring yourself, measure carefully. We are not liable for incorrect measurements or information provided by the customer.
Do you sell special shapes?
Yes, we have something for any shape you could think off. If they make a window we make something to cover it.
How long until I get my window treatments installed?
It depends on product availability. It could be as little as 1 day for products we manufacture. Other specialty designs could take longer as they need to be designed and custom cut to the correct specifications.
Is motorization available?
Yes, motorization is an option on most of our products. The homeowner must provide power outlets near the window where the powered blinds are to be placed. We also have battery powered options. Please consult one of our designers for the advantages and disadvanages of battery powered models.
Will I need my window treatments professionally cleaned?
No. All of our window treatments can be cleaned with a feather duster, a light vacuum, or a moist rag. Ask one of our design consultants for care instructions or email us for more information.
Will window treatments make my home more energy efficient?
Yes. Window treatments can reduce your energy bill. They trap cool air in the summer either within the blind or between blind and window. Additionally, window tinting is a great option to save additional money on heating and cooling.
